MA Philosophy: Eligibility
The basic eligibility for pursuing this course is that the student should have cleared their graduation from a recognized institute. Most of the institutes allow graduates of any stream to pursue this course, even engineering and management. But there are some colleges which make it mandatory for the students to have completed graduation in philosophy or a related subject to study MA philosophy. The students also need to have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in their graduation to study this course in India. Some colleges keep this criterion as just 40%.
Though many colleges entertain undergraduates of any stream, those who have studied philosophy before have an edge over others as their basic fundamentals are clear.

Admissions to MA Philosophy in India are conducted through both entrance tests and also on merit basis.
