Diploma in Animal Husbandry is a three or two-year full-time programme that focuses on imparting on-the-job training in animal care and breeding. It is a full time course that opens up ample job avenues on completion. The eligibility to pursue the course shall be pass in class 12th in Science stream with subjects in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Agriculture as compulsory.

Diploma in Animal Husbandry: Eligibility

In order to seek admissions to Diploma in Animal Husbandry course a student should have passed a class 12th examination in science stream with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and/or Biology or Agriculture as compulsory subjects. They should have secured minimum 50% marks in aggregate and be minimum 16 years of age. Candidates belonging to reserved category shall be give 5% relaxation in the eligibility criteria.

The admission of eligible candidates is affected on the basis of entrance test conducted by the concerned Universities. The entrance exam shall include questions on Physics, Chemistry and General Knowledge up to class 11th and 12th.
