Eligibility for M.Tech. in Production Technology

Candidates wishing to pursue the course need to fulfill the following minimum eligibility criteria:

  • A graduation degree (B.Tech./ B.E./ M.Sc.) or equivalent qualification in a related discipline with a minimum aggregate score of 60% (55% for SC/ST candidates), completed from a recognized university.
  • Preferably, a minimum of 24 months of work experience, as many institutes prefer candidates with professional experience.

M.Tech. in Production Technology: Admission Process

Admission to the course is based on the candidate’s performance in a relevant entrance examination conducted at any of university, State and national levels. Subsequently, students are needed to qualify occasional rounds of group discussion and personal interview, and counseling wherein the candidate’s general aptitude is tested.

Candidates in their final year of the graduation are also eligible to apply. However, admission to such candidates would be provisional, subject to their meeting the minimum eligibility criteria upon announcement of the final qualifying examinations’ results.
