Analyse and suggest ways for cost reduction, automation, derisking the processes from statutory risks under various applicable laws like WJ Act - Advise Locational SPOCs on legal, statutory and compliance matters under varied labour statutes. - Analyze and suggest modifications to compensation and benefits policies to establish competitive programs and ensure productivity and compliance with legal requirements. - Liaison with statutory authorities, trade union leaders and other stakeholders, negotiate bargaining agreements and help interpret labor contracts. - Plan, organize or coordinate the training on statutory and Employee relations activities - Represent organization at personnel-related hearings and investigations. - Study legislation, arbitration decisions, collective bargaining contracts, organization structuring by competitors to assess industry trends. - Develop and/or administer special projects in areas such as contract manpower engagement, news agency contracts, etc. - Define Statutory Audit scope, Schedules, Audit plan. Ensure execution of Audit schedules, publish the findings to HR Leadership, initiate and monitor corrective actions.
