Job description of Area Sales Officer -

  1. Handling and recruiting existing and new sales capable executives in routes wherever required in their allocated areas.
  2. Increasing sales every month and increasing product reach in the market.
  3. Appointing new distributors and handling existing distributors.
  4. Following up for outstanding with distributors and orders on regular basis.
  5. Keeping a check of stock present with distributors on bi-weekly basis and updating the same in head office.
  6. Achieving the turnover targets and sales in quantity target every month.
  7. Training new executives and guiding them to achieve sales.
  8. Activating new reputed key accounts like resorts, hospitals and theme parks in their accounts.
  9. Co-ordinating with distributor for any stock issue and reporting the same to the head office along with actions that can be taken to rectify the same.
  10. Following company norms on code of conduct while working in the market.
  11. Installing and distributing POP materials to retailers as per company scheme.
  12. Finding retail outlet with good locations and trying to increase brand visibility by installing shop boards or product visibility at the same locations.
  13. Suggesting marketing activities to increase sales.
  14. Conduct sampling activities for new products.
